The Philosophy
Design is a way of thinking before it is a way of building.
Great projects are the result of structured thinking, not inspiration alone. Design conceived with technical rigor, aesthetic sensibility and consistency above trends — intelligence above excess.
The Team
Elisa Gontijo
Founder & CEO
Elisa Gontijo leads Design407 Concept from strategy to delivery, uniting design, procurement, and implementation under one team. In 23 years of practice, she has completed more than 479 projects in the United States and nearly 300 in Brazil, with work in the UAE, Chile, Uruguay, and Paraguay. She has personally visited over 1,500 factories across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, building the procurement network behind every Design407 project.
Her work spans large-scale developments, hospitality, and private residences for clients who expect precision as much as beauty — and it is from this practice that The Design407 Method was born. She works in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
